This is an old stand-by in our home for chicken or pork. Vary the flavours with different herbs...rosemary alone is wonderful.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon herbes de provence*
- salt and pepper to taste
Steps:
- a blend of thyme, rosemary, lavender, and summer savory available in specialty food shops and some supermarkets.
- Combine all of the ingredients in a glass dish suitable for marinating.
