Tandori Marinade

This spicy marinade is not for the faint of heart!

 

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 1 small onion, peeled and quartered
  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/4 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons garam masala
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon salt

 

Steps:

  • In the bowl of a food processor, combine the ginger, onion, and garlic. Process until finely minced. Add the remaining ingredients and process again until smooth. Marinate poultry or fish for 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
