Lemon Chili Herb Rub

This spicy rub is great on pork or poultry. Use it alone, or team it up with your favorite barbecue sauce

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest, finely grated

 

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together, and pat lightly onto pork or poultry several hours before grilling. Freeze leftover rub for the next cook-out.
