The original Looftlighter is a Swedish eco-friendly invention that eliminates the use of lighter fluid, ignition cubes (concentrated lighter fluid) and all other sorts of harmful chemicals when lighting your charcoal barbecue. When lighter fluid burns, it produces CO2 which is bad for the environment. Apart from being a threat to the environment and hazardous for children, lighter fluid can also flavor your food and its explosiveness causes many injuries each year. With the Looftlighter you will never need any harmful chemicals to light your charcoal.
How it works
Always make a pile of charcoal or briquettes.
- Touch the pile of charcoal and press the button.
- Pull it slightly away when sparks or glow appear after 10-20 seconds.
- Continue towards the same spot for at least 60 seconds.
